​FANS raises money for Island Rec which is used to keep programming free or affordable for everyone through sponsorship, scholarships, and reduced costs. 

Your contribution allows Island Rec to experiment with new programming from time to time.  All of Island Rec's programs are self supporting, so it is difficult to experiment with new programming without sacrificing existing programs unless there is an alternative source of income. 

Island Rec brings our community together, by stepping up to the plate each time there's been a need, from giving our Trails Committee an umbrella to work under, to offering virtual programs during the pandemic.  FANS makes it possible for donors to show their support and keep Island Rec thriving!  Please consider joining our FANS Club (or renewing your membership).

We encourage you to check out the FANS Fund scholarship program, available through the Island Rec office for families that need assistance with Island Rec's programming, but who do not qualify for the school's Free and Reduced Lunch Program.
